- In the Egyptian stretch of the film Bond calls on Sheikh Hosein, an old friend, at a tent in the desert where women wait on the sheikh, and Hosein has one of them brought in for Bond, who stays the night. Bond then works through two middlemen in Cairo, Aziz Fekkesh and Max Kalba, who are selling the stolen microfilm, and both are killed before he gets hold of it.
