- Tangier appears as 'Interzone', a hallucinated Arab city of narcotics, espionage, and sexual menace. Its one prominent Arab woman, the housekeeper Fadela, is a sinister agent of the drug operation, and even she is finally unmasked as the Western Dr. Benway in disguise.
