- This Sheik parody plays Arabia as slapstick despotism: the chief Mohamet calls for a beheading on a whim, harem girls exist only to kneel, bow, and costume the hero, and once enthroned the hero claims the captured American artist as a wife on the spot. He also flings the slur "camel jockey" at an Arab early on.
