- Set in 1928, the film follows an American heiress who disguises herself as a man to enter a trans-African motor race. She is seized in the desert by Rasoul, then by Lord Beg, who drops her into a leopard pit; Sheikh Ahmed Al Jaffar rescues her both times and claims her as his bride.
