- Iraq supplies the villainy: a fictional President Uday Hussein invades Kuwait, massacres a UN peacekeeping mission, and threatens black-market nuclear missiles, while his UN envoy sneers that the American president's Jewish faith and unelected status make him unworthy of being taken seriously. The Iraqis' intransigence frames the nuclear destruction of Baghdad as the film's central option.
