- In the invented Arab nation of El Alahaim, rebel Arabs butcher their own people - shooting an eleven-year-old boy and abducting a young woman - while Sheikh Ali Hadhi trades the US an air base for bombing them. Captain Selim's men ambush and kill an American pilot, then torture a captured ex-marine, preparing to tear him apart between two tanks before US jets level the rebel base; a bellydancer entertains the freed American in the closing tent scene.
