- The comedy milks its Arab characters for oil-era gags: hotel attendants must teach the wealthy young Sheikh Yamani to shave, dress Western, and drive; his bodyguard Fouad stays mute and downcast; and a friend posing as a praying Muslim mutters gibberish that businessmen mimic. Street characters pile on slurs - "rag head" taunts and the chant "No gas, no ass" - before the sheikh wins the blonde heroine and gallops off with her on a stallion.
