  • The Arab world appears only as a slapstick backdrop: this Foreign Legion spoof unfolds in a mock-Sahara town of "Scorching Sands," placed in a joke-named "Desert of Dhumbell," where the gag geography and a fez on the saloon's dancing girl stand in for the entire region. No Arab appears as a character; Arabia is set dressing for the Legion gags.
