- No Egyptian appears in it: 'Egypt' is merchandise. A broke suitor wraps a hired vagrant in bandages and sells him as an ancient mummy to a professor keen on revival experiments, and the comedy peaks when the fake corpse gets up and walks - the mummy gag standing in for the entire civilization.
