Findings (1)

  • The remake keeps the pattern: the Riff tribesmen fight under El Khobar - here a mild-mannered professor in Arab guise - and prove their worth by helping the French put down an uprising, leaving Arabs cast as either the menace or the followers of a disguised Westerner.
