Egypt means curses and monsters: a hieroglyphic warning at the tomb door, an opening that crumbles archaeologists to dust, and a mummy that rises in modern London to butcher people for their organs. The mummy is technically a Greek sorcerer, but the horror machinery is all Egyptian, from cursed burial chamber to heart-eating cult lore.
