- Sheikh Abdul Abulbul is the lecherous desert tyrant played for laughs: he kidnaps Lady Jane for his harem as an intended thirteenth wife, uses the belly dancer Corktip to bait the heroes into capture, and massacres a Legion garrison. Arab women appear as harem inmates and cafe dancers.
