- Though the treasure-hunt story is set in Central America, the opening strands the two heroes in a desert chase by shrieking, grenade-hurling Arab bandits backed by Arab music; the bandits capture the Americans and stake them out spread-eagled, and the pair escape as soon as their captors ride off.
