- Dialogue casts Arab Muslims as the obvious suspects when a truck bomb kills marines near Tel Aviv: a Baghdad-based group called Black October, described as tied to Shiite Muslims and the PLO, bankrolled by Libya, Iran, and Syria, and holding a lethal nerve gas, is blamed, though the real bomber proves to be a US colonel trying to ignite a war. Mute Arab women meanwhile appear as prostitutes on the balcony of the shabby, Arab-run Oasis Hotel.
