- Two Americans smuggling drugs out of Tangier move through a Morocco of tormenting hagglers, grasping prostitutes, and stomach-turning food, with one of them repeatedly calling Arabs "Ayrabs" and vouching for their supplier Moustafa as "a good Ayrab." Moroccan police jail and beat the pair until Moustafa bribes them free, boasting that with money "anything can be arranged," and his corrupt police-inspector cousin later kills Moustafa's son over a cut of the drug deal.
