Among the nanny applicants interviewed by the Manhattan executive is a Muslim Arab woman covered head to toe in a black abaya, only her hands and a sliver of face visible, who promises to teach the baby girl proper respect for a man and volunteers that she speaks only when spoken to and prefers sleeping on the floor to a bed.
