- In this silent, the heroine Faimeh, sold as a slave, is forced to marry the ugly Arab merchant Amad, until an American millionaire disguised as an Arab beggar spirits her into the desert; she turns out to be not Arab at all but an Englishwoman seized by Turks in childhood, and the pair marry in a Christian ceremony in America.
